Co-founded LegalRideshare with Greening in 2016. Censured in 2005 for endorsing another lawyer’s name on a settlement cheque without authority and failing to give a written settlement statement on a contingent fee matter. Conditions satisfied in under two months; nothing in the 21 years since.

Founded Clifford Law Offices in 1984 and is its senior partner. Forty-nine years at the Illinois bar — the longest career on our Illinois pages, and the only one of the fourteen not admitted in a November. The firm publishes a lifetime recovery total; we print no settlement or verdict figures.

Founding partner and trial lawyer. The register holds him at “MDR LAW LLC”; the firm trades publicly as Miroballi Durkin Rudin Lucas & Rosenblum. Appointed an investigator and now a hearing officer for the Chicago Bar Association’s Judicial Evaluation Committee. His firm bio publishes settlement bands; we print no figures.

His ARDC address of record is in Indiana, not Illinois — Schererville, about thirty miles from downtown Chicago and inside the Chicago metro, but across a state line. He is the only listing on this site whose bar address of record sits in a different state from the city we list him under. He is Illinois-admitted and his firm bio says he has tried cases in Illinois and Indiana.

Partner. His own published practice is overwhelmingly workers’ compensation — injured construction workers and other labourers, tried before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission and argued on review to the Circuit Court of Cook County and the Illinois Appellate Court. The rideshare page is the firm’s, not his.

Managing Attorney; with the firm since 2015. The only rideshare item behind this listing is a press release about a case the firm actually filed — a Cook County suit alleging an Uber driver was engaging with the app when he caused a multi-car crash — rather than a marketing page. Her firm publishes large settlement and verdict figures; we print none of them.

Founding shareholder; previously a partner at Corboy & Demetrio. The Illinois Supreme Court appointed him to the ARDC Hearing Board, where from 2012 to 2021 he helped decide disciplinary cases against other lawyers — the same commission whose register we use to check him. President of the Chicago Bar Association 2016–17. His bio publishes many verdict and settlement figures; we print none.

Admitted in November 2023 — two years at the bar, the newest of the fourteen Illinois listings by twelve years. Before admission he clerked for two judges. Holds degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and UIC School of Law, where his bio says he graduated magna cum laude and was a Lead Articles Editor of the Review of Intellectual Property Law.

Founded Willens & Baez in 2007. Before that he was a partner at Clifford Law Offices — Robert Clifford’s firm, also listed on this page — and before that he worked for a major insurance company managing million-dollar-plus claims from the defence side. His site carries heavy superlatives; we tag them as his claims, not as facts.

His firm bio says he focuses exclusively on workers’ compensation claims, and his listed practice areas are workers’ compensation, work injuries and delivery driver work injury. He does not hold himself out as a rideshare or car accident lawyer. His firm does publish rideshare content; he is not named on it. Forty-one years at the bar — second longest here after Clifford.

Founder. His firm’s rideshare article does something none of the others do: it declines to make the claim its own headline asks. Asked whether rideshare crashes are more likely to cause serious injuries, it answers that no available research clearly shows they are. The register holds him at Gainsberg Law, P.C.; the firm trades as Gainsberg Injury and Accident Lawyers.

Joined Disparti Law Group in January 2017. The firm’s rideshare article carries an unusually candid footer: it says it was written, edited and reviewed by a team of legal writers, and was approved by the firm’s founder rather than by any named attorney. Before joining he spent a year at a defence firm on professional liability. His bio publishes case results; we print no figures.

The firm’s rideshare page is the widest-scoped on the site — the second here to cover Waymo, after Echevarria in Miami, and the only one that also covers Lime e-scooters and the waivers in their user agreements.
